Bug of the Week 39: Grubs

Grubs are the larval stage of different types of beetles. They eat roots of plants and can be an issue in lawns. In the garden, it helps to hand pick them out of the soil so that they don’t eat plant roots.

Larvas são o estágio larval de diferentes tipos de besouros. Eles comem raízes de plantas e podem ser um problema em gramados. Na horta, e bom retirá-los do solo com a mão para que não comam as raízes das plantas.
